Who We Are

CJN Consulting Inc. is a business advisory practice based in Sylvan Lake, Alberta, Canada, operated by Craig Nykyforuk. This website — cjnconsulting.ca — exists to explain the work I do and to give business owners a way to start a conversation with me.

This policy explains what personal information I collect through this site, how I use it, and how I protect it.

What Information I Collect

The only personal information collected through this website comes from the contact form on the Contact page. When you submit that form, I receive your:

  • Name
  • Company name
  • Email address
  • Message (required — whatever context you choose to share)

I do not collect personal information through any other means on this site. There are no account registrations, mailing list sign-ups, or e-commerce transactions.

How I Use Your Information

I use the information you provide through the contact form to:

  • Respond to your inquiry — I review every submission personally and follow up directly
  • Continue the conversation — if we begin working together or discussing a potential engagement
  • Communicate about my services — only in direct relation to your inquiry

I will never sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your information is used solely to respond to you and to support any business relationship that follows.

How I Store and Protect Your Information

Contact form submissions are delivered to my email and may also be stored in secure business systems I use to manage client relationships and follow-up communications, including Salesforce as a CRM.

I take reasonable measures to protect your information, including the use of secure email services, secure CRM platforms, and password-protected devices. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and I cannot guarantee absolute security.

Third-Party Services

This website uses a limited number of third-party services that may collect or process data:

Google Analytics 4 (GA4) Website analytics — understanding how visitors use the site Anonymised usage data: pages visited, time on site, device type, general geographic region. No personally identifiable information is collected by GA4 on this site.
Hosting provider Serving the website Server logs may include IP addresses, browser type, and referring URLs — standard for any web host.
Salesforce CRM — managing inquiries, client relationships, and follow-up Information you submit through the contact form, such as your name, company, email address, and message.
Google Fonts Typography (Plus Jakarta Sans) Font requests may transmit your IP address to Google's servers.

Cookies and Analytics

This site uses cookies set by Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors interact with the site — which pages are visited, how long visitors stay, and how they arrived. This data helps me improve the site and understand whether it is useful to the people finding it.
